Charleson Park
Charleson park is a 7 hectare park (at 999 Charleson Street and Laurel St.) is located in the False Creek/Fairview neighborhood along the waterfront.
Charleson Park Vancouver features great views of the downtown skyline and bright greenery surrounding a man-made waterfall and pond.
Local wildlife, especially birds visit the park. In the springtime one can watch the nesting birds and see the baby birds first make their way into the world.
The sea wall promenade passes by the park and tranquil pathways encourage relaxation. Charleson Park is one of Vancouver’s off-leash dog parks.
Between 6 am – 10 pm the grass bowl is off-leash, while the waterfall pond is on-leash from 10 am – 7 pm June through September and off leash at other times.
There are two play ground areas, a soccer field and also some tennis courts available for recreational use. The entire area is managed by the Vancouver Parks Board.
