Kids Only Market- 1496 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC, V6H 3Y5. Located in Granville Island just past the entrance to the Island, the big sign atop the building is easy to find, and parking is nearby.
This is a destination attraction, with 2 floors of fabulous shopping opportunities for kids and parents alike.
Inside Kids Market there are stores with educational and entertainment books, outrageous costumes, popular toys, and clothing shops with rain gear and gum boots, or swim suits in summer, fancy duds and daytime run-about wear. There are games and craft supply boutiques – gifts of all sorts and a magic shop.
There are also several activity centers, including an arcade and an adventure zone play area on multi-levels.
Food and beverages for kids and adults are available, from treats to light meals and snacks (as well as candy treatsJ). The shops include such staples as Kaboodles, Clownin Around Magic, Knotty Toys, Granville Island Toy Company, Camelot Kids, Half Time Sports, Kites and Puppets, and Just Imagine.
A Canada Post office is inside the building; while just round the corner are the Umbrella Shop and Pedro’s Organic Coffee. The Crystal Ark is also close to the inspirational Kids Market at Granville Island, a must-see Vancouver venue – open daily from 10am – 6pm.
