Olympic Village
Located north of 2nd Avenue along the shoreline of Southeast False Creek from Manitoba Street to Quebec Street, Vancouver’s Olympic Village was originally built to house the 2010 Winter Olympics over 2800 world class athletes, administrators and coaches.
There are more than 600 units in the Village’s low and mid-rise apartment buildings. All have easy access to the bike path and False Creek Seawall along the waterfront where the view of the Coast Mountains and the downtown skyline is superb.
Science World lies to the north. Both the Main Street and the Olympic Village Sky Train stations service the area.
The ever delightful Aquabus Ferries and the False Creek Ferries dock at the nearby Spyglass Place wharf on their daily routes throughout the Creek.
Now only a short distance from entertainment and shopping districts, this ideal location was once an industrial site and parking lot. The urban setting of the 2010 Olympic Village includes tree-lined streets and green space and all the amenities of city living, creating a unique community and neighborhood feel.
There are still many Olympic Village condos for sale that remain unsold.
