Science World Vancouver has parking and the Main Street / Science World SkyTrain station nearby, Science world gives tours, hosts performances and presents intriguing educational lessons on a variety of topics.
There is a restaurant on site where children, youth, and adults alike can relax, chat and snack on the delicious food offerings. The gift shop with nifty souvenirs has many must have collectibles.
The amazing 3D OMNIMAX Theatre is a constant highlight, showing a variety of truly awe inspiring shows throughout the year. World class multi-media presentations, (such as the famous BODY WORLDS and The Brain, CHINA! 7000 Years of Innovation, and the blockbuster Grossology: the (Impolite) Science of the Human Body) are all expertly displayed in the Science Theatre.
Well worth the price of admission, Science World welcomed over 705,000 visitors in its first year alone (1990) and has increased its outreach enormously since that time. The local Aquabus Ferries and False Creek Ferries both dock at Science world as they carry passengers throughout the blue waters of False Creek.
